PARAGLIDER HARNESS

On a Sup Air paraglider harness it has been noted that the sharp edges
of the carbon seat board have damaged the harness leg straps (picture 1.)

Together with the manufacturers representative, the DHV and Aerosport
International GmbH issue the following safety warning: before any
Sup Air harness with a carbon seat board is used again, the pilot
must check for damage to the harness leg straps (see pictures 2 and 3).

Should damage to the straps be visible, then the harness must not be
further used.
Damaged harnesses should be sent back to Aerosport International GmbH
for repair.
Even if no damage is visible, the carbon seat board must nevertheless
be fitted with a protective rail. This may be performed by the pilot,
an Aerosport dealer (school) or Aerosport International GmbH.
Aerosport will send all pilots the necessary materials and installation
instructions free of charge on request.

Il a été constaté sur une sellette l'usure par abrasion d'une sangle de cuissarde
par la tranche de l'arrière du plateau en carbone (photo 1).

Il est préconisé de vérifier cette usure avant tout nouveau vol (photo 2-3).

Si la sangle est endommagée, il faut procéder à la réparation.
Si elle ne l'est pas, il faut se procurer une protection à placer sur
le plateau pour empêcher le phénomène.

Gurtzeug für Gleitschirm

Bei einem Sup Air Gurtzeug mit Carbonsitzbrett hatte die scharfe Kante
am Hinterteil des Sitzbretts einen Beingurt teilweise durchgescheuert.

In Absprache mit dem DHV trifft der Hersteller, Aerosport International GmbH
folgende Sicherheitsmaßnahme: Vor der nächsten Benutzung von Sup Air Gurtzeugen
mit Carbonsitzbrett muss der Bereich der Scheuerstelle (Abbildung 2 und 3)
vom Piloten überprüft werden.

Sollte eine Beschädigung an den Beingurten sichtbar sein, darf das Gurtzeug
nicht weiter benutzt werden. Es ist an den Hersteller zur Reparatur einzusenden.
Auch wenn keine Beschädigung sichtbar ist, muss die Hinterkante des Sitzbretts
mit einer speziellen Abdeckung versehen werden. Dies kann vom Halter selbst,
von einem Aerosport -Händler (Flugschulen) oder von Aerosport durchgeführt werden.
Aerosport sendet betroffenen Haltern das Material mit Einbauanleitung kostenlos zu.
Reparatur beschädigter Gurtzeuge erfolgt kostenlos durch
