SELLETTE PARATECH A6, C2 and M3
Risque d’ouverture de la ventrale en vol
Nous avons constaté un défaut sur la partie mâle de l’anti oubli. Ce défaut, peut,
dans certaines circonstances engendrer une ouverture de la ventrale.
Afin d’éliminer tout risque, nous vous remercions de bien vouloir
vérifier la date de fabrication de votre sellette
Ce défaut affecte les sellettes dont la date de fabrication
est comprise entre le 25 avril 2003 et le 30 juin 2003
(étiquette située dans le dos de la sellette).
Date de fabrication
Si votre sellette a été fabriquée entre le 25 avril 2003 et le 30 juin 2003,
merci de vous mettre en rapport avec votre revendeur, ou directement avec
nous pour que nous puissions déterminer si votre sellette est effectivement
affectée et que nous solutionnons le problème.

SAFETY NOTE
Unintentional opening of the Safe-T-Bar buckle on
PARATECH HARNESSES A6, C2 AND M3
On the male part of the Safe-T-Bar buckle of two Sup`Air harnesses a
manufacturing mistake has been found.
The mistake did not appear yet on any PARATECH harness, but it can not be
excluded because buckles manufacturer is the same.
This mistake can under certain circumstances cause unintentional
opening of the chest strap of the harness.
Concerned may be harnesses with a manufacturing date in between April 25th
and June 30th 2003 of the models A6, C2 and M3.
PARATECH has checked all models (A6, C2 and M3) from affected deliveries.
All harnesses resting in stock have had a manufacturing date within a small
and not affected period of time.
Consequently it can be almost excluded, that any PARATECH harness is
manufactured within the critical period of time.
Simultaneously our supplier affirms, that almost no harness can be affected,
because almost all buckles have been checked already at that time.
The manufacturing date of each PARATECH harness is stamped on to a label
which is inside the harness. (as shown in both pictures).

The mistake can not be found by visual or by any mechanical test on ground.
To be absolutely sure, that no defective Safe-T-Bar buckle is on your harness,
the Safe-T-Bar buckle of all PARATECH harnesses with a manufacturing date in
between April 25th and June 30th 2003 has to be replaced before the next flight.
The Safe-T-Bar buckle together with the attached red webbing strap can be
exchanged by the owner of the harness himself.
Replacement buckles can be ordered free of charge from PARATECH or the relevant
importers in each country.

Gurtzeug für Gleitsegel
MODELLE A6, C2 und M3.
Unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen der Safe-T-Bar Schliesse bei PARATECH Gurtzeugen
Am männlichen Teil der Safe-T-Bar Schliesse von zwei Sup`Air Gurtzeugen wurde
ein Fabrikationsfehler festgestellt.
An PARATECH-Gurtzeugen ist der Fehler noch nicht aufgetreten, kann aber wegen
Baugleichheit des betroffenen Beschlages nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
Dieser Fehler kann unter Umständen zu unbeabsichtigtem
Öffnen des Brustgurtes führen.
Betroffen sein können Gurtzeuge mit Produktionsdatum zwischen
dem 25.April und 30.Juni 2003 der Modelle A6, C2 und M3.
Das Produktionsdatum jedes PARATECH Gurtzeuges findet man auf einem Aufnäher
im Inneren des Gurtzeuges (Hohlraum des Rückenprotektors im Rückenbereich).
" Date de Fabrication " Jahr - Monat - Tag
Der Fehler lässt sich weder optisch noch durch mechanische Versuche
am Boden feststellen. Um sicher zu sein, dass sich keine fehlerhafte
Safe-T-Bar Schliesse am Gurtzeug befindet, muss diese bei allen
PARATECH Gurtzeugen mit Produktionsdatum zwischen 25.04.03 und 30.06.03
vor dem nächsten Flug ausgetauscht werden.
Die Safe-T-Bar Schliesse mit dem daran angenähten, roten Gurtband kann vom
Besitzer des Gurtzeuges selbst ausgetauscht werden. Schliessen zum Austausch
sind kostenlos bei PARATECH und bei vielen Flugschulen erhältlich.
