KORTEL DESIGN INFORMS YOU ON A POTENTIAL PROBLEM WITH THE KANIBAL HARNESS.

Problem : 
Sometimes we observed, in some cases, in urgency cases, 
that the rescue handle can be very difficult to be remove of its position 
especially with small gabarit pilots 
(it is a problem of physical power to extract the handle, if the movement 
 is not done to the outside of the Harness).

Solution : 
Originaly the system works properly with the majority of pilots, 
then it is not crucial to change the handle. 
But Kortel Design proposes a free of charge exchange of the handle in the 
case of the customer return back the old handle.

Advise : 
Customers could give the handle to a specialized workers 
to make a modification of the stiching as shown on the following 
explanations... To be defined...

Improvement : 
Since this date, all the new harnesses 
are equiped with the nex handle.

Problem : 
after prolonged use (more than one year) the Velcro that covers 
the reserve parachute pins becomes difficult to open.

Solution : 
Open and close the Velcro regularly before each flight 
in order to reduce its resistance. 
This issue has been resolved for harnesses purchased after October 2002.

Improvement : 
By way of an improvement Kortel Design proposes its new 
reserve parachute handle at a special price. 

KORTEL DESIGN INFORMS YOU OF A PROBLEM OF WEAR 
ON THE MAIN CARABINERS OF THE K2 HARNESS.

Problem : 
If the original maillon rapides (quick links) are replaced by Zicral carabiners
(such as Camp, Sup’Air, ....) wear can be observed on the carabiners due to 
contact with the triangular stainless steel links through which they pass.

Solution : 
Kortel Design strongly recommends replacing these carabiners 
with the maillon rapides (quick links) supplied with the harness.

KORTEL DESIGN VOUS INFORME D'UN PROBLEME SUR LES SELLETTES KANIBAL.

Problème : 
Il se peut, dans certains cas, en cas d'urgence, que la poignée 
de secours soit difficile à décrocher particulièrement avec les petits 
gabarits (problèmes de force physique pour arracher la poignée si le 
mouvement n’est pas fait vers l’extérieur de la sellette).

Solution : 
Le système marche très bien avec la plus part des pilotes, 
il n’est donc pas du tout indispensable d’intervenir de manière systématique. 
Néamoins, Kortel Design propose une nouvelle poignée facilitant l’extraction. 
Cette nouvelle poignée peut être échangée gratuitement dans la mesure où les 
clients nous renvoient l'ancienne poignée.

Conseil : 
Les clients peuvent aussi faire modifier leur poignée chez toute personne 
équipée d’une machine a coudre, en suivant les instruction suivantes... 
A venir...

Amélioration : 
Les nouvelles poignées équipent désormais toutes les nouvelles 
sellettes à partir de cette date.

Problème : 
après une utilisation longue (plus d'un an) de la sellette, le système de 
Velcro qui maintient les aiguilles du secours sont difficiles à enlever.

Solution : 
dégraffer le Velcro régulièrement avant le vol pour assouplir sa résistance. 
Le problème a été résolu pour les sellettes achetées après octobre 2002.

Amélioration : 
en guise d'amélioration Kortel Design vous propose la nouvelle poignée 
de secours à un prix spécial.  

KORTEL DESIGN VOUS INFORME D'UN PROBLEME D'USURE 
DES MOUSQUETONS PRINCIPAUX SUR LA SELLETTE K2.

Problème : 
Si les maillons d'origine (type Maillon Rapide trapézoïdal) ont été remplacés 
par des maillons en Alu éloxé (type Camp, Sup'Air, ...), une usure a été 
observée au niveau de ces derniers du au frottement des boucles en Inox qui 
sont montées dessus.

Solution : 
Kortel Design recommande fortement de remettre les maillons d'origines.
