After the airworthiness advisory from the 08.08.03 and the warning
from the 25.10.02 concerning faulty lines, type Eulit 0.9mm,
in paragliders from FreeX Airsports GmbH the majority of the affected
Gliders have had their lines replaced.
Because of the possible safety hazard of gliders not having
their gallery lines replaced yet, the manufacturer FreeX Airsports GmbH
issues the following safety note for gliders of the type:
Stereo DHV GS-01-0648-99,
Mission M DHV GS-01-0714-99,
Mission L DHV GS-01-0756-00,
which include the letter-number combination C01 to C13 in their serial number.
The named paragliders must not be flown anymore, if the gallery lines
are the original type Eulit 0,9mm (foto) regardless if the lines show
the visible faults issued in the warning from the 25.10.02 or not.
It also affects gliders which have bee checked by FreeX Airsports GmbH,
after the airworthiness advisory from the 08.08.03,
without having their gallery lines replaced.
The replacement of the lines will be carried out by the manufacturer
FreeX Airsports GmbH. The airworthiness advisory from the 08.08.01 is
still fully effective for the other named paragliders
(Sun S, M, L, Pure S, M, L, Flair S,M,L).

Suite aux Flashs Infos du 22 août 2001 et du 31 Octobre 2002 relatifs
aux suspentes défectueuses du type Eulit de 0.9 mm des parapentes FreeX,
une partie des parapentes concernés ont été équipés de nouvelles lignes.
Comme il y a des risques de voler avec les anciennes suspentes,
FreeX a décidé de faire la recommendation suivante:
Mission M MZL Gs-01-714-99
Mission L MZL Gs-01-756-00
Stereo MZL Gs-01-648-99
dont le numéro de série se situe entre C01 et C13:
Les voiles mentionnées ci-dessus ne doivent plus voler si les suspentes
sont toujours des Eulit 0.9mm (voir photo), et ce même si elles ne présentent
pas de défaut particulier du type de ceux présentés dans le flash du
31 Octobre 2002 ou ayant subit le controle préconisé dans le flash du 22 août 2001.
Les suspentes sont à faire changer par FreeX.

Le flash du 22 août 2001 est toujours applicable.

Aufgrund der Sicherheitsmitteilung vom 08.08.01 und der Warnung vom 25.10.02
bezüglich fehlerhafter Leinen des Typs Eulit 0,9 mm in Gleitschirmen der Fa.
FreeX Airsports GmbH, wurde ein Großteil der betroffenen
Geräte mit neuen Leinen ausgerüstet.
Wegen der möglichen Sicherheitsgefährdung durch solche Geräte,
die noch nicht auf die neuen Galerieleinen umgerüstet sind, erlässt die Fa.
FreeX Airsports GmbH für alle Geräte der Muster
Mission M MZL GS-01-714-99,
Mission L MZL GS-01-756-00,
Stereo MZL GS-01-648-99,
die innerhalb der Werk- Nummern die Ziffernkombination C01 bis C 13
aufweisen folgende Sicherheitsmitteilung:
Die genannten Geräte dürfen nicht mehr geflogen werden,
sofern sie in der Galerieleinen- Ebene noch mit den Originalleinen
Eulit 0,9 mm (Bild) ausgerüstet sind unabhängig davon, ob die Leinen die
in der Warnung vom 25.10.02 dargestellten sichtbaren Mängel aufweisen oder nicht.
Dies gilt auch für Geräte, die aufgrund der Sicherheitsmitteilung
vom 08.08.01 bereits bei Fa. FreeX Airsports GmbH zum Leinencheck waren
ohne dass hierbei die Galerieleinen ausgetauscht wurden.
Der Leinenaustausch wird von der Fa. FreeX Airsports GmbH vorgenommen.
Die Sicherheitsmitteilung vom 08.08.01 bleibt für die anderen dort benannten Geräte
(Sun S, M, L, Oxygen M, L, Pure S, M, L, Flair S, M, L) in vollem Umfang bestehen.
