APCO FIESTA 2 : DEEP STALL

Two examples of the APCO FIESTA 2 have been involved in accidents 
where they have entered a deep stall during a winch tow launch.

Investigations are continuing into the flight characteristics 
of these particular gliders.

In the meantime pilots are advised to take extreme care if 
tow launching the APCO FIESTA 2. 

Standard tow launching procedure must be followed : 
do not apply any brake (other than the minimum left or right brake as
needed from time to time to keep the wing aligned with the tow line).

APCO FIESTA 2 : DECROCHAGE

Deux cas d'accident de décrochage engageant des voiles APCO FIESTA 2 
se sont produit durant des treuillées.

Les investigations se poursuivent au sujet des caractéristiques de
vol de ces voiles.

En attendant il est conseillé aux pilotes de porter une attention extrême
en cas de treuillée avec une APCO FIESTA 2.

Les procédures standard de treuillée doivent êtres appliquées :
Ne pas appliquer de freinage (excepté le minimum à droite ou à gauche
nécessaire de temps en temps pour garder l'alignement avec la ligne)
